Moving day is liable to cause at least a slight case of the blues - aside from all the work and unavoidable headaches, there's usually a twinge of melancholy and mixed emotions, even when the move is planned and necessary and even when the new home is a step up and an exciting prospect and adventure for you and your family. There are memories tied to any place you've lived in for any length of time, and oftentimes there is a peculiar sense of dread surrounding house-moving, a slight fear of the new and unknown that everyone feels to some degree, I think.
